Ukraine Day Centre: Shaping Our Future Together
Established in 2022
Welcome to the Ukraine Day Centre, a beacon of hope and support for Ukrainians navigating the aftermath of the Russian invasion. Established in 2022 by the collective effort of three English-speaking churches and a dedicated group of volunteers, our Centre stands as a testament to compassion and unity in the face of adversity.
Our Founding Principles
At the heart of our mission is the unwavering commitment to provide immediate, practical support to Ukrainian refugees. Our doors are open to all, irrespective of faith, gender, age, or race. While we are not a faith-based organisation, we are guided by a profound sense of humanitarian duty.
Our Mission
Guided by a unanimous vision, our mission encompasses:
- Delivering social, educational, and material assistance to those in need.
- Creating a safe, welcoming environment for positive social interactions.
- Bridging the gaps in basic services and respecting the dignity of every individual.
- Encouraging community involvement in the Centre's governance and operations.
Our Journey So Far
Adapting to the evolving needs of the growing Ukrainian community in Switzerland, we’ve established a well-organized, dynamic community at the Centre. Our partnerships, particularly with Ukraine Reborn, have been instrumental in extending our reach and enhancing our services.

- Psycho-social counseling and language lessons in French & English.
- Distribution of essential items like clothes and personal effects.
