Ukrainian Day Center Lausanne

In the heart of Lausanne, the Ukrainian Day Center stands as a pillar of refuge and solidarity for those forced to flee their homeland due to the devastating impacts of war. Our center is committed to providing essential services, support, and a sense of community to Ukrainian refugees seeking safety and stability in these turbulent times.

Founding Principles

The Centre was founded to provide practical support to address the
immediate needs of Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion of their country.

Founded by three churches with significant help from additional volunteers, the Centre is open to serve all refugees from Ukraine irrespective of faith, gender, age or race. Expressly, it is not an evangelical organisation founded for religious purposes.

Provide social, educational and material help for Ukrainians in need;

Be a safe, welcoming space offering positive social interaction;

Augment the basic services provided by local authorities such as EVAM;

Respect the dignity of all visitors and seek to involve them in the management and running of the Centre.
